Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking online?

We know which hotels are truly worth your time, which room categories are worth the upgrade, which destinations pair beautifully together, and where the details can make or break a trip. We are also your advocate before, during, and after your travels should something unexpected arise.
And when possible, we leverage preferred-partner relationships to secure added amenities, upgrades, VIP recognition, and personalized touches that aren’t always available when booking on your own. Plus, they’re added to your booking, complimentary!
Do I pay more to work with WHIT Travel?
We offer our hotel booking services free of charge, and hotel rates are the same as when booking with a hotel direct. For trips requiring extensive research, customization, or concierge-level planning, a planning fee may apply. During our consultation, we explain any required fees upfront before we begin.
What types of trips do you specialize in?
We specialize in thoughtfully designed luxury travel, including honeymoons, milestone celebrations, family travel, romantic escapes, safaris, European journeys, island getaways, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Can you plan the entire trip?
Yes. Depending on your needs, we can coordinate accommodations, flights, private transfers, guides, excursions, dining recommendations, special experiences, private aviation, cruises and vilas.
What happens if something goes wrong while I’m traveling?
That’s one of the biggest advantages of having a travel advisor.
If a flight is disrupted, a transfer doesn’t show, plans suddenly change, or something simply isn’t going as expected, you don’t have to figure it out alone. We’re available to help navigate the unexpected and work with trusted partners on the ground when needed.
How far in advance should I book?
For the best availability and access, especially for peak-season travel, villas, safaris, luxury cruises, and highly sought-after hotels, we recommend planning several months in advance. Below is a guide to help you determine when is best to reach out.
Cruises : 9 - 16 months
Safaris : 9 - 12 months
Summer travel : 6 - 9 months
Honeymoons : 6 - 9 months
Spring Break travel : 4 - 6 months
Holiday Travel : 4 - 6 months
That said, last-minute travel can sometimes be wonderfully rewarding. If you’re dreaming of going somewhere soon, it’s always worth asking.
